This surprise stormer is an absolute staff favourite. We find its fruity complexity utterly complelling. An all natural oxidised style of white wine. Produced in Tokaj, Slovakia by Janus Vdovjak. He ferments the furmint grape in oak barrels before aging the juice in a mixture of amphora and new oak barrels.
A small proportion of the wine undergoes an oxidised aging process. The result is a natural wine loaded in notes of lemon, flowers, caramel, orange peel, whisky, and baked stonefruit.
Low Intervention. Aged in amphora and oak. Light oxidising. Rich and textural with notes of peaches, whisky, spiced maderin, almond cream and flowers.
